Location
Chessington World of Adventures Resort is located close to Leatherhead in Surrey on the A243, just two miles from the A3 and M25 (junction 9 or 10) and is well signposted from both roads.
Season and Opening Hours
Chessington World of Adventures Resort opens for the 2023 season on 23rd March and will be open until 5th November 2023. Chessington World of Adventures opens at 10.00am with closing times varying through the year.

Mandrill Mayhem
Minimum Height Required: 1.20m (Children under 1.2m-1.3m must be accompanied by an adult)
Ride around the iconic sites of Jumanji, brave Chessington's first inversion, and all while dodging the hazards of the jungle.
New for Chessington, Mandrill Mayhem is the first ride at Chessington with a virtual queue, giving you time to enjoy everything else the Resort has to offer while you wait to ride. Using a smartphone you MUST book a slot for FREE to ride Mandrill Mayhem on the day of visit. When the time to ride approaches, you will be notified and will be invited to enter the queue line for Mandrill Mayhem within a set time frame.

Ostrich Stampede
Minimum Height Required: Adventurers must be a minimum of 1.2m to ride.
Families’ second adventure takes place in the dunes on Ostrich Stampede. Swerve a herd of stampeding ostriches on this whirlwind trip. Ostriches may be flightless birds, but this is going to be a bumpy ride. Those between 1.2m and 1.3m must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16, while those a minimum height of 1.3m can ride alone.

Mamba Strike
Minimum Height Required: Adventurers must be a minimum of 1.2m to ride.
Dodge the fangs of the black mamba on a dizzying, untameable ride. There’s not a moment to lose… Adventurers must jump on and hold tight – the black mamba is about to strike! Those between 1.2m and 1.3m must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16, while those a minimum height of 1.3m can ‘drop’ alone.

Croc Drop
Minimum Height Required: 1.20m (Children under 1.2m-1.3m must be accompanied by an adult)
With the once fertile Nile laying stagnant, riders must take part in a ceremony to banish the evil spirits from Sobek, the ancient Egyptian Crocodile God and protector of the Nile. Those daring will plunge 25m through Sobek's giant jaws into the crocodile's soul freeing the waters back into the Nile.

Vampire
Minimum Height Required: 1.10 m (maximum height 1.96 m)
Just like a bat out of hell, this family-friendly roller coaster gets you soaring through the skies and flying over the treetops with your legs dangling below you. It’s fang-tastic and once bitten, you’ll want to fly again and again. Please note: a chest size limit of 51 inches applies on this attraction. Children shorter than 1.30m must be accompanied by an adult.

Elmo’s flying Jumbos

Everyone's favourite patchwork elephant, Elmer, created by David McKee and published by Andersen Press flies in on the first ever themed ride in the spring. Fans of the Children's picture-book character will be able to pick a colourful elephant to take them to the skies on the flying carousel.

Monkey Swinger

Jungle Rangers
Minimum Height Required: 1.2 m
Featuring three rides, explore the rainforests of the world by road on Jungle Rangers, by water on River Rafts and from the treetop canopy on Treetop Hoppers. Little explorers take the wheel on Jungle Rangers, a car ride where they navigate their vehicle along the trail, spotting creatures including tortoises and capybaras, the world’s largest rodent, along the way. Then, make a splash on mini-log flume, River Rafts – watch out though for the cheeky chimps that live along the waterway! Lastly climb above the treetop canopy, bouncing up high on Treetop Hoppers, but be careful, what goes up…

Lockers are available to purchase in Adventure Point, Wild Woods and Land of the Dragons. For a small locker the prices are: £1 up to 1 hour or £5 for the whole day. For a large locker the prices are: £2 up to 1 hour or £10 for the whole day. You can revisit the locker at any time throughout the day.

Can you take dogs to Chessington world of Adventures?
Only assistance/guide dogs are allowed in the park although they will not be able to accompany guests onto the rides. Other animals are not permitted within the park.

Chessington World of Adventures do offer a Carer goes free option when purchasing a full price admission ticket. You will need to show proof of disability on arrival at the park and this will be at the parks discretion.
