How to get to Warwick Castle?
Open 364 days a year , Warwick Castle is ideally located at the heart of the UK and is less than two minutes from Junction 15 of the M40. Warwick rail station is a short walk away, with regular trains from Birmingham (27 mins) and London Marylebone (80 mins).
Open daily from 10.00am except Christmas Day. Closing times vary.

- You will receive a gate-ready Warwick Castle ticket - simply present it at the entry gates.
- Children aged 2 and below go free.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

- Your ticket is open-dated and can be used at any time before 3 November 2019, when this ticket expires in full.

Warwick Castle is a medieval castle developed from a wooden fort by William the Conqueror in 1068. It was eventually owned the Greville family until the Tussauds group took it over in 1978.

As well as the Castle, grounds and gardens, Warwick Castle also offers live shows, seasonal events, afternoon tea and overnight stays.
Is there parking available?
There is parking at the Castle and also off site. Parking is approximately £6-£10 per day.
At what age do I have to pay for a child?
Children under the age of 3 years are free of charge. Children 3 + will require a ticket for admission.
Are you able to leave and come back in the same day?
Yes, you will just need a member of staff to stamp your hand as you leave so you can re-enter.
Can I smoke/vape at Warwick castle?
There is one designated smoking area on the main castle site and one in the Knight's Village. The rest of the castle and grounds are non-smoking.
Is there a cash machine at Warwick Castle?
The Castle is a cashless site so there is no cash machine. All their shops and restuarants accept card and contactless payments.
Can I take my pushchair through the castle?
Unfortunatley as there are some narrow stairs and hallways throughout the Castle, this makes it unsuitable for pushchairs. They can be left outside in the pushchair parks.
